Bart, as an update: http://www.sltrib.com/ci_14916264
August 1st will be the event. It will be a Spike Fight Night rather than a PPV.

Nice. And it came to pass that August 1 would be the new meeting time. Still, much rejoicing.

Indeed, it is exciting! I’m new to the UFC world and have been following it for just the past couple of months. It’s addicting!

UFN means that we won’t get any true superstars in Utah. However, I bet they sign a bunch of local talent for one fight contracts. Which is always good for exposure.
Bart are you competing in the Utah Grappling Games, if so gi or no-gi, what weight class & skill level.
April 22nd, 2010 at 2:01 pm
Yeah I’m 50/50 about the summer grappling games. I’d like to if things work out.
I talked to Micheal Pease about the tournament and I’ll go even if I’m not competing. As of yet, I don’t know what the divisions are so I can’t say.
Are you going to come and compete?
April 22nd, 2010 at 3:22 pm
I have Submission One two weeks before and IBJJF Jiujitsu Open two weeks after, so I’m up on the air about competing.
However if I do, we should be in the same weight/skill class so I was curious as to if we would compete against each other. Hopeful even.

Glad to see that Utah is still the home of talent (I’ve been away too late!) Superstars in spirit! Look forward to the rejoicing.

Thanks dude, I’ve got some pretty ugly carpet burn on my foot that I’m hoping to heal up today. (I have had a MRSA scare in the past so rolling with an open wound isn’t something I can do anymore).
If it does, I’ll try to make it in.

Looks like it may be Jon “Bones” Jones to headline the SLC UFC which would be awesome. He is one of the most exciting new up and coming fighters out there.
Vit K: just a question… do you know where we get most of our vit K from in the body? Sounds like you named yourself well.
